SUMMARY:Webinar: Inside the Landowner Mindset: A Developer's Guide to the Other Side of the Table
DESCRIPTION:Successful renewable energy projects hinge on strong landowner relationships. But what are landowners actually thinking when your letter arrives in their mailbox or your land agent contacts them? What do they already understand about the development process\, and what are their biggest misconceptions? What concerns or experiences shape whether they say yes\, hesitate\, or walk away? \nJoin Jeff Risley\, Executive Director of Renewable Energy Farmers of America (REFA)\, and Natalie Rodriguez\, REFA’s GIS Consultant\, for a candid conversation about the landowner perspective on renewable energy development. \nDrawing on REFA’s work with farmers and ranchers across the country\, developers will learn: \n\nWhat landowners already understand about lease terms\, project timelines\, and what happens during construction and decommissioning\nWhere developer and landowner perspectives often diverge—and how to close those gaps\nHow to navigate the solar-on-farmland debate\nWhat builds trust (or breaks it) during lease negotiations\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to step into the landowner’s shoes and strengthen your approach before your next outreach or negotiation. \nRegister Here

SUMMARY:RE+ 26
DESCRIPTION:RE+ brings the modern energy industry together to meet the power demands of the future. What began as Solar Power International (SPI) has evolved into RE+\, uniting an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for multiple days of programming and networking opportunities\, while showcasing a resilient industry. As the largest and most comprehensive event in North America for the clean energy industry\, RE+ incorporates business opportunities and education content across energy sectors\, including solar\, energy storage\, hydrogen\, microgrids\, EV charging and infrastructure\, and wind energy. \nDeveloped by the nation’s leading clean energy organizations\, the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)\, RE+ reflects an ongoing entrepreneurial approach to renewing best practices across the clean energy landscape as the marketplace evolves. Unlike other industry events\, all proceeds from RE+ events support the expansion of the energy industry through SEIA and SEPA’s year-round research and education activities\, and extensive advocacy and advisory efforts. Our primary mission is to deliver on the missions of both SEIA and SEPA in a way that strengthens the industry domestically and globally\, through networking and education\, and by creating an energetic and engaging marketplace to connect buyers and suppliers.
